Marketing automation for electrical contractors

Electrical work spans a wider range than most trades — a $180 outlet repair and a $12,000 panel upgrade come through the same phone number, and treating them the same way wastes both.

Add the residential-to-commercial split, where sales cycles stretch from days to quarters, and follow-up stops being something anyone can keep straight by hand.

Wide job values, two very different buyers

Residential service calls are transactional and speed-sensitive. Panel upgrades, EV charger installs, and whole-home rewires are considered purchases with real deliberation behind them.

Commercial and property-management work runs on relationships and long memories — the contractor who stayed in touch gets the call when the budget opens.

Segmenting by job value and customer type at the first touch is what lets one company serve all of it without dropping the expensive half.

What I build for electrical contractors

  1. 01

    Panel and service upgrade campaigns

Older housing stock across Texas metros is full of undersized panels. Targeting by property age and past service history surfaces the high-value work.

  2. 02

    EV charger install nurture

A growing category with a long research phase. Buyers ask early and decide months later, which makes long-cycle nurture the deciding factor.

  3. 03

    Estimate follow-up by value tier

A $500 quote and a $12,000 quote deserve different follow-up intensity. Tiering the sequences means the big ones get worked properly.

  4. 04

    Commercial relationship nurture

Low-frequency, high-value contact with property managers and general contractors so you are present when work comes up.

Questions

Most of our work is commercial. Does this still apply?
The mechanics change more than the principle. Commercial nurture is lower frequency, more relationship-driven, and measured over quarters — but the failure mode is identical: the contact goes quiet, nobody follows up, and the work goes to whoever was still in the conversation.
